Praises and Pleas

Youth for Christ Roxboro June 27, 2007

One generation will commend Your works to another; they will tell of Your mighty acts. The will speak of the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and I will meditate on Your wonderful works. Ps 145. 4-5

Praises: Corral McNeil, a Youth Guidance teen, passed his GED, the Navy entrance test, and goes for training next month; YFCR volunteers are lending their pool for 2 weeks of swimming lessons for Warehouse teens; first meeting of Outdoor Mission Camp steering committee outlined 10 weeks of camp in Maggie Valley for 600 kids next summer; rock climbing and other adventures for Roxboro young people going forward with summer interns; growth and teachable spirit of some of the young men hanging out with our staff; they are actually already copying this pattern and are “mentoring” younger boys; new, working Air Conditioners!!!!

Pleas: Lord, please let it be out of hearts that have fully meditated on You and Your wonderful works that we commend, tell and speak of You to this younger generation; do not let us be full of self or the busyness of this world; lead every staff member, board member, volunteer, donor and teen convert to Yourself; make us faithful as You are faithful so that we can truly translate Your glory to the young people of Person County. We ask for new ears and eyes among this next generation to respond to You because of
relationships with interns, volunteers, and time in camp. DW. Your plans for the fall.
