Free Greek Class in Person County

There will be an exciting opportunity to learn to read your New Testament in Greek! Dr. David Black, Professor of New Testament and Greek at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, will be offering a course at Bethel Hill Baptist Church. It is entitled “Greek For Dummies”. This is open to anyone over the age of 10. The class will begin in mid-January at Bethel Hill and meet weekly on either Monday or Thursday night from 7-9PM (no later than 9). You don’t need any foreign language experience, or even a high school diploma! There is no fee for this course! The only thing you have to purchase is Dr. Black’s textbook, “Learn to Read New Testament Greek” You can get that on for about $15 used. The course will last 8-9 months (taking some weeks off). By the completion of the course you will be able to read and translate your Greek New Testament! This is open to anyone who is interested. Homeschoolers are welcome. Pastors are welcome. Church members are welcome. Unbelievers are welcome too!
