Don't let those not hearing make you stop listening!

Each person together...
Have you ever had one of those experiences where God unmistakably spoke to your heart? I love the passion and clarity of those moments!
Have you ever had the above happen WITH a group of people? You know, God spoke to YOUR heart, but He also spoke to some others' hearts as well?
Such an experience both binds believers together and sends them out together. They are drawn closer to God and one another, and they are ready to go out in service together.
It's powerful when corporate experience becomes corporate commission.
Consider: "Saul also went to his home at Gibeah, and with him went men of valor whose hearts God had touched." (1 Samuel 10:26 ESV)
Not everyone felt the same way: "But some worthless fellows said, 'How can this man save us?' And they despised him and brought him no present. But he held his peace." (1 Samuel 10:27 ESV)
See it? Some heard from and were touched by God. Some didn't get it. The some that didn't get it didn't stop the some who did!
Here's the thing... when a group is together and a group is oriented toward hearing from and listening to God together, the likelihood that people will hear individually and move collectively is increased. I firmly believe this is one of the many reasons believers must practice the discipline of meeting together regularly. We must position ourselves as individuals to hear from God and then join in joyful action with others who hear from and are touched by God.
Don't let the some who don't get it stop you from being one of the some who do.
