"You get up every morning from your alarm
clock's warning..."
Some say there's no rest for the wicked, and
that's true; in life, toil and in death, terror. Some say there's no rest for
the weary, and that's true to an extent. The weary often only have work before
them in this realm, but the Lord sustains those who labor for good, AND such
ones can rest in the Lord, AND there will be a final rest for those who have
rested in faith in Christ.
To labor for the Lord is a blessing, but that
does not mean there are no difficulties to face.
It is wise to labor much and well upon one's
knees, seeking the mind of God and the heart of God as one stands in the truth
of God.
Galatians 6:9 says, "And let us not grow
weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give
up." Praise God, I believe it! We shall reap if we do not give up! Press
on!
As if we didn't get it in Galatians, 2
Thessalonians 3:13 tells us again, "As for you, brothers, do not grow
weary in doing good."
By the late evening or the early morning, let
us not grow weary in doing good! Even if we are weary, let us endure! Press on!
