Is you is, or is you ain't wise folk?

Some folks can’t handle money…
Some folks can’t handle authority…

You’ve seen it; money ruins some people. They get it and do nothing worth noting with it. For many, it amplifies foolishness, because, with the money, there is more opportunity to express various desires that haven’t been governed with wisdom to begin with.

Likewise, some folks don’t rule themselves well, so they can’t manage others either.

“It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury, much less for a slave to rule over princes.” (Proverbs 19:10 ESV)

A fool, with no regard for God or no care for wisdom, does not typically make a good steward. A fool manages neither money nor authority well, and they suffer for it, and so do others with and around them.

A wise person honors God, cares for others and walks and works in wisdom with whatever is in their care.
